Aims and Purposes

4 12 2009

Hi Colleagues,

Just a quick note to let you know how I hope this blog will help schools move forward as we all meet the challenges of implementing CfE.

This particular blog will focus on issues related to curriculum and assessment.  The blog is organised into pages detailed above.

By accessing this blog you should be able to:

* Link straight to sites related to curriculum and assessment issues (CPD / Staff development packs).

* Find out about new developments nationally and locally.

* Access and download examples of good pratice within and outwith the authority.

* Post comments or questions that will inform the future content of the the blog.

* Share good practice from within your own institution.

If you have any examples of good practice that could be shared via the blog please get in touch.

I hope you will find the content useful and welcome any comments that you may have as to how the blog could be improved.

Kind regards,

Paul Oparka

I think I will need to allow staff time to read through all this as well as discuss. Thanks for setting up!

Hello Paul!
You’ll perhaps remember the enthusiastic staff the you met on your recent visit to Aberdeen!!
This provides us with an opportunity to share good practice within and outwith our own local authority. Time is the issue for most people, but this is a valuable means of accessing quality CPD. Thank you for the link!
